Do the banks accept sterling coins?

    I found a small amount of sterling coins at home. Does anyone know if AIB or BOI will change them to euro? I know generally they don't accept any foreign coinage but thought it might be different as its the UK? Cheers!

    No different, I'm afraid. They don't deal in any foreign coins generally.
