    1. get a wacom.
    2. buy online
    3. spend no more than €200 for a starter tablet

Just got a wacom bamboo one, its great small enough. If you're a student you can get like %50 off on some sites. I got mine on Play.com for €30 and free shipping cos i sent it to an aunt in london

Why go for an apple tablet which will be obviously overpriced when you get a wacom tablet that has been tried and trusted?

They do Teutorix, Wacom sell the Cintiq range of products.

I can't see the Apple tablet being tailored to the same degree as the Wacom tablets, to be honest.

I would think so... wacom arent the worlds premier graphics tablet manufacturers for no reason

Too much clutter. Who needs boxes and cables all over the place? It doesnt take a giant leap to imagine a tablet computer that is standalone.

I understand that wacom are currently the best. However being the best at something doesnt mean that you're safe from being instantly innovated out of the market. Wakey wakey wacom! This tech is on the way.

Wacom actually supply most tablet pcs with their drivers and some HP tablet pcs are basically just a cintiq with a processor in a laptop case

How did we get from an apple tablet to windows 7?

There's a huge learning curve using a block tablet. It's odd having to stare at the wrong place when drawing. But once I got used to it, I never looked back at my mouse. ;)
