Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I think it will finish as follows:

    1. Man City
    2. Chelsea
    3. Liverpool
    4. Man United
    5. Arsenal

As a man united fan it really pains me to say, but we've just got such a weakened side this year I think we've no chance of competing for the title and we could even struggle for a champions league spot.

I agree but you're still better equipped than Liverpool this season; you won't catch Chelsea though

Yeah look at the firepower they've got, and now they've got a good keeper for the full season and Stephen Ireland running the show in midfield. They'll definitely be in the mix this season.

Mark Hughes will be a genius if they do. How is he going to keep all those egos up front happy ?

a keeper that conceded 18 league goals in his three months at the club last season in fairness, nearly as many goals as man utd conceded in 9 months, says alot

Man City have no chance of winning the League - Hughes will be sacked by Christmas.

    Its gonna be:
    Chelsea
    Utd
    Liverpool
Arsenal/Everton - its going to be close for 4th

    It's between United and Chelsea.

    Arsenal

    Chelsea
    Spurs

Wenger to make another signing that completes their puzzle for this season and surprises everyone.
Ancelotti to have a few too many draws.
Redknap to take Spurs on an amazing winning streak at some stage.
Man City to be better than last season but still struggle.

Can't see how Liverpool will be ahead of Utd imo, Alonso leaving is a huge loss, I know Ronaldo is a loss but Alonso made Liverpool tick.

But Liverpool replaced Alonso , at least they hope they have.

Liverpool bought a new central midfielder, they didn't replace Alonso, also they didn't address their main problem from last season.

Out of the top 4 teams, Liverpool and especially Rafa are under the most pressure, a couple of bad results early on and I can see the Scouse faithful reacting.

I don't think you can replace what Alonso did for Liverpool that easily, Gerrard's freedom and supply last was all down to Alonso, anyway perhaps the Pool can challenge for the title but I really don't see any chance of them being 10 points ahead of UTD as the poster I replied to said

    Chelsea

Well I'm fairly sure Aquilani will play instead of Alonso, so yes I would say he is his replacement. I'm not going argue with fanboyism.

under more pressure than Ancelotti, i really doubt it, he must win something to be there next season, liverpool or arsenal do not put that amount of pressure on their managers no matter how much the media will have you believe

the usual "rafa is going" story will no doubt start around november/december time again this season in the press, you can bank on that, its like clockwork every season

Ah I know it's a bold prediction. Tbh I think the top 4 are going to be all very close. I do think Arsenal will sort out their defence this season and continue to score a lot and therefor they'll be right in the mix imo.

    1 Chelsea
    2 Liverpool/United
    4 Arsenal

United/Liverpool have been weakened considerably and at this time impossible to know if the replacements new signings will make the desired impact.
