Stupidest car name?

Inspired by the Ricky Gervais/Bill Bailey sketch (I cant remember which!), what is the worst name for a car you've ever heard?

I think the Skoda Superb is a terrible name. I know they're apparently decent cars and I must admit I dont know much about them, but I just think its a terrible name.
Volkswagon Lupo as well. Lupo brings lupine to mind, and the Lupo is anything but wolf-like!
Daihatsu Charade & Suzuki Ignis...theyre just random words!

    VW Tourareg (Tow Rag)

Aha but there is a logic to the Toureg

The Tureg are an African tribe living in the Sahara desert, across countries like Algeria & Mali

They are a hardy folk, living where they do so I guess VW wanted to use that name to convey the ruggedness of their car.

Ironicaly though almost all Touregs in Ireland have little more to deal with than the curbs of south dublin roads.

Anyway.... The Skoda "Superb" seems a pretty dumb name.
might as well have the BMW "good drive and you'll look more important in it"

The "Twingo" name is a portmanteau derived from the words "Twist", "Swing" and "Tango"

The Nissan Qashqai has to be a shoe-in for this...
    Or the Ssangyong Musso
    Or the VW Lupo
or my personal favourite, Lancia Delta HF Integrale 16v Evoluzione, not stupid but imagine trying to fit that on a road tax form!!

Best name has to be the Lamborghini Countach (WHOAA!)

I have a strong dislike for the Alfa MiTo name as well as the car. The Peugeot Partner Tepee is probably the most diabolical name of a car on sale though.

Really? My spanish is crap, but...

    Vamos...NoVamos...Nova??

I think most car names a stupid to be honest. Focus, Avensis, Primera, Tino.... all silly names made up by marketeers.

The americans do it propertly with names like:
    Trans-Am
    Charger
    Mustang
    Taurus
    Prowler
    Barracuda
    Corvette

    All proper names!

    Wagon R+

Why you'd name a car 'Wagon' is anyones guess. Also was there a Wagon R, before car design was perfected with the R+?

That's a terrible name! It actually makes me annoyed just thinking about it
Golf and Polo are terrible names for cars too IMO. Lupo doesn't annoy me for some reason. Vectra and Astra are probably my favourite car names. I like saying them. Vectra!

Polo. Is it a horse/mint/car hybrid?
Passat. Sounds like some sort of paintbrush.
    Golf. Gentleman Only Ladies Forbidden?

You're far safer with a number imo.

SEAT have it right, names of cities work well... at least Spanish cities. Can you imagine what the SEAT Dublin would look like? :D

Most of the german manufacturers have boring names, but logical!
    ie. BMW 318 BMW 3-Series, 1.8 engine...

    More stupid names:
    Suzuki Cappacino
    Kia Picanto.

I don't know what they mean, but they're terrible.

I think Nissan cornered the market on daft names for cars:

    Cherry,
    Sunny,
    Bluebird,
    Stanza,
    Silvia,
    March,
    Sentra,
    Cube.
