What would be my weekly expenditure be (odd take out, money [small bit just to show im grateful] to my parents for keeping me, socialising -3 nights a week we will say, petrol for car)???
Can anyone help me on this?

Between petrol, going out (and taxis which is the bitch living at home) €100 a week would give you PLENTY of leeway, €60 would be do-able if you only drank one of the nights.

I got by on €80 a week in one semester. I thought that was a bit tight, rarely going out etc. €100 a week should be fine as long as you keep an eye on things

Living in college I got by on €100 easily by shopping in Aldi and drinking before you go out.
