Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

When Tevez is fit, he will go out and do what he is capable of for City, of that I have no doubt......
And if he has to spend time on the bench, he might as well get Michael Owens number and pass the time texting to him......'cos he's bound to be sitting there injured for a fair amount of time:P

    .....

Tevez to come on score, guarantee it!

??? yes and he is manager atm and there arent any plans to change that, so my point still stands.

So how's Tevez playing since he came on?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,772 ✭✭✭✭Paul Tergat

Good old old northern english weather. Players should be shooting on sight as the ball will be bouncing awkwardly for keepers. Especially Robinson.

The Tevez thing is a bit annoying tbh, if people bothered to find out why he isnt starting before coming in here making stupid remarks then you will know why he is on the bench.

EDIT: not going to happen is it?

Let them off, they're just planking it!!!!!!!
They know when he is fit and playing, he will be fantastic on the pitch and they let him go 'cos no-one talks to Fergie and stays.......
    Look at Ronaldo, Beckham situation.
Man U is a weakened side and their fans know it.
And unlike Michael Jackson, Fergie will be playing giggs all season:eek:

Sorry, but, do you think this type of post annoys Man United fans or something? It just makes you look really petty.

Also, P_Larkin99 is a United fan. So that was real smooth.
And unlike Michael Jackson, Fergie will be playing giggs all season:eek:

    Seriously, what? Are you ok?

I'm a Utd fan mate. Going over to the Citeh game at OT in September but won't be giving him any abuse. Not getting drawn on the debate here.

Just telling it as I see it.....
As a citeh fan I'm well used to abuse and am well able for it:D

Hope city do sort out their defence tho' because Given can't keep up this all season

you obviously didn't watch him much at Newcastle ;)

I wish Robinho would score already. I need a city win for my accumulator and I have him in FF. 'keeper just keeps making save after save from him

He wasn't fully fit was the news from City.

He is on now anyways for Robinho.

City only really look dangerous on the counter attack.

The rain has ruined it a bit.

What's the story with Onaihu (i've no idea how to spell it, i mean the big African CB that looked good for City last season)? Is he injured or is he just not first choice?

That substitution was weird 'change of mind for Manchester City' according to the stadium announcer :D

PS lol at Hughs' City rain coat - not very cool

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,909 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

    SWP still has it.

Warnock's been excellent for Blackburn btw.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,772 ✭✭✭✭Paul Tergat

Does it really need explaining the difference between being fit to start (i.e. able to play 90 minutes) or, as this situation is, being able to play the last 25 minutes of a game having had much less pre-season games than players you are competing for a place with?

Like Tevez, he's been injured lately and consequently isn't match fit.

That's why they were both named as subs.

He's English, plays for the U21's btw.

Thinks he's a real raw talent. A lot to learn though as any young CB.

And on the sub, I think the way sparky reacted it was a mistake from the 4th official!?

He is one of their best players,

we'd be lost without him, which is why im hoping the window shuts soon.

I think he is too attacking at times for City,

They have to have some players who stay back.

Didn't realise he's English. Jesus England have some depth of quality in central defenders, right through the age groups.

Yeah I think so. The announcer was funny though.

Blackburn to get a late goal for the draw.

If City win my accumulator looks good. They better not blow it...

    4 mins?! NO!

ah good, doesn't matter. If Sunderland hold on I get over €100 i reckon :D
