Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was somewhat sceptical whether Ireland could continue his level of performance from last season or whether he would be a one season wonder but he was class today.

Certainly a good start to the season for him.

great way to start the season. blackburn could have scored in fairness but to ride out the game is an improvement for us. hopefully more good times ahead

    Well that was quite entertaining.

City's defence looked to be having trouble early on but they seemed to improve in the second half. I think Dunne, Toure and Given all started to get on the same wave length as the game wore on.

I thought the front five looked good for City. They're a fearsome prospect tbh.

Ireland's finish was quality. Brazilian Ronaldo-esque.

I'm not sure about Barry as the holding midfield, time will tell though.

I think Big Sam will see this as an opportunity missed, but City deserved the win imo.
