Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey, maybe someone can help me...

I have a Audi A4 1.6 with 19 inch alloy - what should my tyre pressure be?

They aren't the original wheels, so I assume the manafacturers suggested tyre pressure is different.

    thank,
    -Paul

Check the side of the tyre not the alloy.

somewhere around the 30 psi marke maybe?

but as above, check the side of the tyre, it might state a required pressure there.

If you have 19's then your gonna have a fairly small sidewall on your tyres. From my experience of 18's on a passat 30psi is ideal in front and 28 in the back. Any lower and you will buckle an alloy from a pothole, any higher and you burst a tyre from same pothole

Not what you want to hear but 19's on a 1.6 are you mad?

The joker I bought the car from put them on

Oh they're 18 inch actually. On the tyre it says don't inflate above 40psi. Fair enough.

I tried inflating to 30psi, but to the eye they looked a bit soft. I now have them at 36psi and they seem fine.
