Streamed audio recording software

I've been using Creative software to record from various sources including vinyl, radio etc in MP3 format. It doesn't work too well on Vista. Are there any reliable alternatives?

audacity , used it myself for some old tapes to mp3 recently

Has millions of features if you need them and saves in every format you can imagine.
