Poor. We're letting them have everything, there's no tempo to our game whatsoever. Torres and Gerrard are quite static and everything just seems in third gear. Need to pick it up, and stretch their midfield a bit. Bring Babel into the game, and start attacking more.

shocking performance so far, you can see now why liverpool only won ~30% of matches without xabi in the side over the last 2 seasons and 67% of matches with him, look totally devoid of ideas, awful stuff, to think liverpool battered spurs at WHL last year (still lost of course)

I'm not sure if Gerrard is 100% fit, so i would take him off and replace him with Spearing, and bring Benayoun on for Babel.

Awful awful display from us. Gerrard is stuck in centre midfield the whole time trying to make something happen. Lucas is being his usual lucas self, although not giving away fouls hes more of a mascherano than a Xabi and there is no supply coming from midfield.

Torres is completley isolated up front on his own and Babel is terrible. He has great speed yet when he dribbles with the ball its like hes stuck in mud. Hed be better off played up top as he hasnt the technical skill to run with the ball.

Such a weak squad. Id take of Lucas and bring on Spearing and if Babel continues to be complete and utter **** bring on Yossi even though hes never as effective on the left.

We should be 3-0 down. This is really disheartning.

One shot on goal was it? Gerrards one from long range that dribbled wide. Sums us up at the minute.:(

The Limitations of Liverpools midfield is glaringly evident today.

Masch looks like he is sulking over being made stay, Lucas is well Lucas, Babel should have been shoved on in the summer and the right side look completely lost. Gerrard and Torres may as well not be there.

Spurs unlucky not to be 3 up, Keane will take a chance though sooner or later.

Scouse need to seriously step it up 2nd half, or they will get hockied!!

When he was signed he was already injured. Out for 4 to 8 weeks.
