Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi all, I need to get black trousers as part of my uniform for my hairdressing course. I was looking at Next online and there are 2 pairs that are lovely. I need them to last and also have to be washable. Anyone buy clothes online from Next or any tips where I could get nice black trousers.

If you can get over the slightly cheap feel of them, Pennys do black work trousers for around 8 euro, every girl where I work wears them, and even though we have to crawl around after kids and they get unbelivable stress they're still going strong, and they wash great, no shrinkage, and dry fast.

I find A-wear good for trousers. I've a pair that have lasted me well and I do quite manual work - which gets a lot of crap on them.

Tks for that, will head in2 town today and have a goo. Didnt wanna spend a fortune on them so Penneys and Awear would be good:D

I got two pair of nice black trousers in Penneys for the grand total of €19, am well chuffed plus I got my shoes for €7 in Dunnes for college too. Happy days.

    +1 to taram and Larianne.

I usually have a high turnover of clothes but I got black trousers in a sale in A Wear six (!) years ago for €15, and they are still going strong. I've worn them to work hundreds of times. They are a lovely classic cut in durable, fast-drying material. When I needed to wear black trousers every day I used to love the €8 ones from Penneys - I had three pairs, they were a nice shape and had a cute tab fastener at the waist. They felt cheap but looked nice and it beats spending a fortune or washing clothes constantly.
