    Can anyone recommend a compact tent suitable for a cycling holiday i.e. lightweight, waterproof, compact and easy to erect.

    Gelert tents are good, small 2-3 mans you can pick up for a reasonable price.

    They are usually copies of other companies; Coleman, North Face etc.

    Slightly less compact and a bit heavier but much cheaper. I have a two man one and can't fault it, never let me down, even in the heaviest rain Switzerland could throw at it:)

    You'll get them in a few places, Millets in Mary St (Dublin) being the place most most range probably
