macrumors.com has a feature called forum spy; http://spy.macrumors.com/ It's like the current front page of boards (all the most recent posts from various threads), but updated live. Would this be possible on Boards?

fwiw there's a FF addon that allows you to refresh tabs automatically at predefined intervals, I use it sometimes on certain sites.. Digg etc

The thing I like about the macrumors site is that when you login you can turn on/off all the forums you are interested in or don't care for.
