Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Recommendation for Wall Vents.

    I am in the middle of deciding between HRV or standard Wall Vents. Can anyone recommend a good quality wall vent, which can be closed. I want to get one and put it on some plaster board so I can show the significant other.

    Have u considered window trickle vents

    most builder providers will have a range of plastic or metal vents

    Sound insulated vents would be my dream, the noise let in through standard vents is unreal

    Have you decided which you are going for thesteve. Like you deciding between HRV and wall vents.
    On another thread someone mentions - black hole vents manufactured by Stadium. There're used in place of wall vents. There're supposed to limit draughts and noise. Has anyone used these? Going to look into them a bit more.

    To be honest I was just gonna use "No more big gaps" to fill in the one in the bedroom! I'll cut it out then if I ever sell the house... Would love to hear recommendations of something that meets building regs tho. Fcuking Panda collecting bins at 7am every Thursday morning is starting to irritate me

    Just wanted to bump this thread to see if anyone else could recommend a good quality wall vent. I have placed an order for 1 of the <snip> products, but would be interested in other products.
