Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hello to all in the forum!

We are planning a camping trip to Germany for 2 weeks in September. We will be flying to Frankfurt and renting a campervan and are thinking of heading south to the Swiss border and travelling along the Alpine Road to Munich.

Has anyone here ever done this or have any recommendations for other routes/sights etc.

    Thanks! :)

Should you pick up a camper at Frankfurt head for Rothenburg on der Tauber and venture down the Romantic Road which will take you right down to the Swiss border. This route is well signposted and is one of the nicest drives in Germany. You will go down to Fussen and Oberammergau & Garmish Partenkirchen and the highest mountail in Germany the Zugspitz. Then head over to the Bodensee and on to Switzerland.
Have a good trip and watch out for a lot of Irish Campers when you are over there and do flash the Lights at us.
