Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have been posting recently about getting into photography. I have been getting some sound advice. What i need to know now is where is a good place to buy from??

More than likely i will buy from the web as it is more cost effective for me at this stage. Can anyone recomend any good sites to buy from. A friend told me about one based in new york but i cant think of it at the moment. If i bought from a dealer in new york would the warrantee/guarantee be valid here?

    Frag

If you buy from the States your warranty will be in the states.
I would bet our friend told you about B&H Photo(great shop).

if you haven't already - try FAQs - Read this before posting!!! under the heading 'Where should I buy photography equipment?'
it's mainly still current, but probably needs to be updated a bit. :)

Also are there too many stickies?, i think lots of people miss the main FAQ because of all the other stickies up top!! should they be all contained in one FAQ type document I dare say some could be merged.
