Cheapest place to get a new guitar

    been having a look around, thinking of retiring my Xplorer and getting a new guitar. Have all the games so really want to just get a guitar on it's own.

    Most I've seen seem to be around the 50-80 mark :mad:

    Rock Band 1 strat guitar is going for €24.99 in Smyths.

    That's pretty damn cheap. On a side note, I believe you can get the drums in gamestop for about €40

    Thanks for the heads up on smyths, they have the full set of instruments for 44.99 :eek: been meaning to get my own drums for ages.

    Now the problem I have is getting it home as i imagine the box is quite the size :confused:

    I've seen those boxes in the shop and figured it was just for display, id easily manage that on the bus.

    Jarvis st / Parnnel St??? the one beside peats there.

    They all had them though, a pal got a set in the drogheda store around the same time4/5 weeks ago could have been flogging them cheap pre-release of the beatles came to make room for new stock?

    SMYTHS IN GALW- *cough* oh excuse me, something in my throat there.

    The Smyths in Galway had the same offer as well, so I'm going to go out on a limb here and say every Smyths minus your one had them.
