Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Coverage of Pats' training session at the Stadionul Ghencea yesterday evening from stpatsfc.com:

The pitch is in an absolutely shocking state!

Does anyone know where one might find a half decent stream for this (seeing as RTE are cunts).

I think realistically, they need to grab an away goal to have any chance – there’s no way they’re going to keep a clean sheet against these lads for 180 minutes. Based on what I saw of Steaua against Motherwell, they’re a cut above anything Pats have encountered either this season or last.

Maybe true but Pats are certainly a cut above anything Steau have encountered this season.

Hopefully we'll get a decent result out there.
Have the ticket for the home leg so it would be great going out there with the tie still alive and get fellow LOI supporters out to support an Irish team on the brink of history.
I can only see 2 results tonight however a hiding or a unlucky 1-0 defeat.
Nobody gave us a hope of beating Hearta Berlin and we were very unlucky at least not to beat them in our home leg last year.
    Big ask but not impossible.
Nobody gave us a chance in the last round.

    Believe

Can only be good for Pats.

Betting on Pats to win with a +3 goal advantage is 2/5 on Paddy Power.

    That's not bad at all.

Just as Mark Quigley did in the previous round, you can follow the game at the Stad Gheneca from 6.30pm on RTÉ Aertel.

Aertel coverage! Wow! Sure that’s as good as being at the game!

RTÉ really know how to spoil the license fee-paying football fan.

    Shame on rte.

Though the romanian national broadcasters aren't showing it either. Some digitv basts bought the rights.

Would have been a very nice bet at this stage.

RTE are a disgrace. AERTEL hasn't even got a score for the game and its over a half an hour now. Disgraceful

ah ballix, i'm just in from a match myself, if anybody who got to see it could comment on how it went, who played well/not so well(glen fitz:D), i'd be all ears

Watched Zagreb v Hearts on BBC2 Scotland last night.

    Free !

I would be happy to have a TV with no RTE in exchange for which they would get no licence fee from me but hey ho, I have no choice but to pay them so that won't happen and we're off topic.

Looking forward to the Irish clubs in action next season in Europe, probably a fair bet to say that once again, not a single match will be broadcast.

    Got thumped :(

Still think had we played our best 11 in their proper positions we would have scored.

All we can do now is keep our 10 year unbeaten at home in europe record intact :(
