    Emerald Warriors RFC - Make It Happen -

    As our summer comes to an end our focus turns to the the 2009 - 2010 season. Plans are already in place to prepare the squad for the challenges of the up and coming season. Please review the details and dates below and mark these times in your diary. It is imperative that the team are prepared for the competitive challeges that are before us. The clubs coaching staff have prepared and complied a comprehensive program for the season ahead.

    For anybody out there you is not a member but is considering signing up, NOW IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY. The Emerald Warriors is a club that is always growing. We are growing in a number of ways, size, attitude and how we see ourselves in our community here in Dublin. While we are first and foremost a Rugby club we also act as a social out-let for our community. We promote an environment where people can come together free of discrimination and prejudice to participate in sport. Our training schedule is IRFU accredited. We operate our club and training schedules to a very high standard. If you feel you need a change, a challenge like you have never experienced before or you feel you just what something else from Dublin life, no matter who you are or where you come from there is a place in Emerald Warriors RFC for you. Contact me at the details below or just turn up and lets take it from there.

    Pre-season Training will start back on Tuesday 18th August 2009 at 7pm. Training will be every Tuesday & Thursday, each session will be a mix of fitness and skills training. Saturday sessions will be a mix of friendlies, fitness or skills training.

    Training during the season is on Tuesdays and Thursday evening at 7pm. Please arrive 15 min before start time.

    Matches will be held on Saturdays, time and details have yet to be provided by the IRFU. Once we have the schedule we will notify.

    We meet at the rugby pitches located in the grounds of the National Basketball Arena, Tymon Park, Tallaght, see directions below. Bring a change of clothing, running shoes or studded boots if you have them, some rain gear and drinking water.     Directions to Training:
    Take the Tallaght exit of the M50 pass the Spawell Leisure centre. Take the furthest exit off the next small roundabout on the Tallaght Road By-pass. It is signed posted from there and the entrance is opposite the Penny Black Pub. Public transport 77a, 65, 65b, 54a.

    Emerald Warriors RFC play their first league match of the season at home in Tymon park - Lower Pitch this Saturday 10th October at 3.00pm.

    First up opposition this year is Unidare RFC. Come along to support your team for the first time this season!

    Emerald Warriors Vs DLSP away this saturday 17th October.

    All support greatly appreciated as the Warriors take on their third season in the Leinster J4 league. Hope to see you guys for some fresh air/Rugby/pints/more Rugby as we will hopefully catch some of Leinsters Heineken cup match afterwards.

    On the main Enniskerry Road (R117) it is easily accessed from Dublin's M50 C-Ring


    Motorway at junction 15 sign posted Leopardstown / Carrickmines. Head towards Kilternan until reaching a T Junction at the Golden Ball Pub. Turn Right and continue past Kilternan Parish Church on the left, arriving at Kirwan Park, 300 Metres on the Right hand side. Alternatively head from Dundrum villa
