private or public camping?

hi all, First off i have to say, this is my first time ever camping! Im planning on goin camping for two nights. I have everything organised except where to go! Actually, ive placed a reservation at a private campsite in wicklow but im starting to reconsider this idea. Is it better to go to somewhere that's not family run…

hi all,

Im planning on goin camping for two nights. I have everything organised except where to go! Actually, ive placed a reservation at a private campsite in wicklow but im starting to reconsider this idea. Is it better to go to somewhere that's not family run etc. Isnt the idea of camping all about the wilderness etc and so it'd be best to experience it in a place less restricted re open space?
any ideas on where's nice around the wicklow area, and legal?
