Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

im thinking of buying an Opel astra 5 dr. One being sold locally. driven her and shes prefect and clean. One problem, The temperature guage read 28.0 C and it cold and raining outside. saw her on a reasonable day and she was reading 34.0C.

Is this a big problem or can it be easily fixed.

does it mean the car was smashed ??

    Comments much appreciated.
    thanks

I was told recently by someone much more mechanically minded than me that the temperature readings on modern cars are used by the ECU for fuel mixes etc. Not sure how accurate that is, but if it is the case then it would be more important than just not knowing exactly how cold it was outside.
