First time iv used the radio on this particular handset, plugged in my adapter and earphones and I get no reception. Just the bussing sound for all frequencies. Any ideas what could be wrong?

On the radio screen, go to options. Then go to station directory.

From there you can find some Irish radio stations. See if that helps.
