In my head, this has more boos (apart from the new 64gb ipod touch) than the '97 keynote.

A camera was never going to make me upgrade my iPod touch, and the extra space seems like a high cost when I am getting by without it.

However the Nanos look cheapish and the camera/fm transmitter/pedometer makes it fairly interesting.

True. Although 299 for the 32GB model is fair, and an extra 100 for double that is fair too, I suppose. It just seems like a lot. Maybe for the extra space they had to leave out the camera/fm...

ah I'm not complaining about there prices there. I just need something more to get me to upgrade which I never really expected at this event.

I normally wait for a big product update before changing i.e classic to touch.

However the Nano is very interesting as an accomplice to my touch because I can use for different uses. Like the Nano would be much better for the gym, and may be a better camera than my phone for those on the go moments. While the touch is better for internet access and movies.

That's the major problem with all the hype surrounding Apple events... Still, this one was even more underwhelming than usual, it felt more like "evolutionary" updates to everything rather than anything really new and awesome.

So, when's the next big Apple event we can all start getting hyped up for and coming up with crazy theories?

The Touch comes with the new headphones too, the ones with the remote and mic.

The 8GB is the last Gen too.

The radio on the Nano also has iTunes tagging, so if you hear a song on the radio and don't know who sings it you can tag it on the Nano and iTunes will give you the artist and song name.

Edit: Scratch that, it's only available in the US.
