Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Mains breaker wiring

I’m converting the electrics in my JAP import camper from 100 V to 230V and have noticed something odd in the wiring schematic, http://www.box.net/shared/hllysrxlql the ink transferred between pages on the owners manual so I’ve revered Japanese symbols to clean off so I’ve scanned it and enlarged it. To me it looks like the RLCB is conncected to both the live and neutral (as it should) but that the circuit breakers are connected to the neutral! Which seems odd to me. What do you think?

    By the way

All the breakers are 230 rated and the wiring is good for 230 also, so I want to keep them. I’ve changed the socket to a 3 pin one and plan to put in a step down transformer to convert 230 to 115 which has been done before and worked.

I don’t know what the Zig unit will take but it can’t be more than an 1A 100V and the fridge will take 862 mA. I need 214VA, my transformer is 300VA so I should be OK there (till the fuse blows).
