18-08-2009 7:52pm#1I was just listening to this song and was struck by how much I love the solo. It's a somewhat angry song but from about 1:40 there's a surprisingly soft instrumental topped off with an achingly beautiful solo before launching back into the vitriol of the chorus.
This song has some another one of my favourite solos (from 2:23), it really gains momentum before the accompaniment kicks in harder to top it off:
I'm not much of a fan of "virtuoso", rapid, technically difficult guitar solos, but to be honest I can't say I've heard all that many. What solos or instrumentals really do it for you?0

Fairly simple solo, nice melody compared to the chaos of the rest of the song, and sounds amazing with the back up singers. Easily one of their best songs.0
