I'd be very surprised if it wasn't ADSL to be honest. You can run a speedtest here to see if your upload speed matches your download speed

Yes but DSL can have the same upload and download speeds whereas ADSL is asynchronous DSL so the upload speed is always only a fraction of the download speed (it's usually about a tenth of the download speed on my connection)

DSL or xDSL is a family of technologies that provides digital data transmission over the wires of a local telephone network. DSL originally stood for digital subscriber loop, but as of 2009 the term digital subscriber line has been widely adopted as a more marketing-friendly term for ADSL, the most popular version of consumer-ready DSL. DSL can be used at the same time and on the same telephone line with regular telephone, as it uses high frequency bands, while regular telephone uses low frequency.

ADSL and SDSL are the most common DSL technologies deployed in Ireland (with ADSL probably accounting for 99% of all DSL installs - both consumer and business). The main market for SDSL would be in applications such as video-conferencing where upload capacity makes a huge difference (the demand for SDSL has been low so the costs have stayed relatively high compared to ADSL services).

Yeah I know that ADSL is a form of DSL. I think we're just nit picking to be honest. The OP's question has been answered so let's not get into another boring techy argument over semantics that is seen way too often on boards.
