Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

On news 2 last night (rte 2 tv) there was a good article about a photographer from bray who posted images of catterpillers on Flickr and they ended up on the national Papers in the UK.

You can access the news article by viewing it online on the rte website:

Saw that alright , was on Six One News on RTE as well. Must been a slow news day... Nice to see though, were quite good photo's and shows the power of Flickr as some agency from the UK saw them on it and told him they could get it into the National papers over there and they did! Wonder what he got out of it in the end besides the press coverage or is that all?

    Great set of photographs.

Honestly, what else could a guy called Cannon be but a Canon using photographer? :D

My youngfella James should be the one getting the credit, not me, he's the one who spotted them in the first place, as I'm half blind I'd probably never have noticed them meself.

Coincidentally, they also left him a little personalised message on the same Silver Birch a month before he found them...

...& no, he did't do it with a magnifying glass...
