Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Minor irritant when XP boots

I recently reinstalled XP, now every time it boots it opens the My Documents folder. It's simple enough to just close it. However I cannot find anything in any of the settings which would cause it to open on boot up.

Has anybody any idea where the setting which causes it to open is?

The first thing I'd check is that it's not in your startup items:
    C:\Documents and Settings\ACCOUNTNAME\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

If it's not there, go to Start > Run and type msconfig, then hit OK. Check the items listed under the Startup tab.

Thanks CPU-Dude. I should have searched Microsoft Support. The value in the userint sub key had been repeated.
