Samsung i900 email problem

    I can send mail OK via 02 smtp but cannot download using POP from a local mail provider. The settings are simple and correct. Had the phone looked at by the mail provider and all is OK. I can see the messages through a web interface and also download via Outlook on a PC. I can see the progress: connecting, logging on, looking for changes, disconnecting, finished. But no mail come down.

    Using the mail progam that come with WM 6.1

    I had a standalone (doesn't interface with the mail program) spam filter installed and this could see the messages on the server and download the message also. I uninstalled the spam filter software in case this was the problem but it didn't change anything.

    Any ideas?

    EDIT: Works with IMAP
