Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fiat and VW to enter WRC

Good news. I heard that a few months back alright. The WRC class is being replaced by the S2000 class next year isn't it? That'll help costs for new teams to enter. Pity they won't be as spectacular looking! VW were having problems with the S2000 spec and the Scirocco I think... the Scirocco was a few mm too wide IIRC.

who cares? WRC has been dead since about 2000 as far as im concerned. The cars are really fast now but they have so many electronics they are too easy to control and look completely unspectacular.

All FIA sanctioned series are ****. If you want to see what next years WRCs will look like just watch the WTCC. Its essentially a 2wd version of the same cars. Dull racing, in dull cars. Its what the FIA is all about.

I dont understand how they cant make the series more like Aussie V8s, they are relatively low cost yet they have managed to retain a spectacular looking racing series which actually uses modified road cars.
