    Hi all,

I'm looking into renting a van for the purposes of moving house. Not looking for anything too big just moving some personal items, a table etc to a new place and want a van for a day. Ordinary driving licence too.

Anyone got a good recommendation at a reasonable price? North Dublin City area preferably.

    Cheers

I'd just look at hiring a man with a van type of service. Give Cormie on www.vantasks.ie a shout - he's a member here. I used him before and he was very good.

Rented one for when my Brother in law moved house - can't remember how much it was though. We got that from Swords but they have a location in Rusell Street (near Croke Park I think). Got a Transit 280LWB so plenty of space and it can be driven on a standard B licence.

Now operating from the new rental complex at dublin Airport.

Check out Valu Van Rental, they are located on the Old Swords Road, I have rented Transits and Crafters of them maybe 8-10 times, never had any problems. And very resonably priced.

Although their web site gives one price, giving them a call I always got a better price.
