Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Talksport have been running a story for the last hour or so that they have had word from Anfield that Benitez stormed out of the club today.

They also had Paddy Power on the show about 15 mins ago, who confirmed they have suspended betting on Benitez to be sacked.

Part of me thinks that we've been here before. I guess we'll find out over the next few hours.

At times like this i'm glad to support a team with a loyal and reliable manager.

to be honest, it's the last thing I want to see.

They might get a competent manager.

    Noooooooooooooooooo, Rafa.

Rafa, keeping Liverpool title free since 2004. You will be missed by every United fan.

One who can spend 14m a year and win the league in today's environment? I doubt it

since this morning talksport have been speculating that a PL manager has walked.

After yesterdays revelations about the transfer budget this would explain why bets were placed on Rafa being the one to have gone.

Which in turn would lead to Paddy Power cutting their odds until they suspend betting.

Presume & hope thats what it is, because if its not, well, it'd be a disaster.

It's probably just himself posturing for another new contract. Hope so anyway.

I thought abuse of people in the game was a banning offence - or did that directive change? ;)

I was of the opinion that backseat modding was also a banable offence?

No truth in it until it's on BBC!

I'm sure this will be debunked in the next hour or so anyways, although if course there is always a small chance that this is true.
