Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Had the misfortune to tune into Ray Darcy show this morning while in the car. The subject for discussion was "What do you use your dishwasher for?" ..absolute shocker. It simply reconfirmed why I listen to UK radio stations. Do we really deserve this drivel???

If people didn't want to listen to stuff like this, they wouldn't be listening in their droves. Sometimes the people get the broadcasters they deserve

It could be worse. Jenny is doing a good job. Its quite positive anyways. Its a pity Matt Cooper is still on holidays though. Anton would have been doing the show if he wasn't. I can't stop laughing when he's on for Darcy.

Ray Darcys show is the best on radio. Entertaining and plays good music.

personally i'd say the opposite. i find it mundane, pretty boring but harmless and probably the worst music I hear on any given day when I have the misfortune to hear that show.

tom dunne would take it a step further and spend a good hour discussing how a particluar brand of washing up liquid made his hands feel soft , sore , whatever

Yep, heard this too, the bird is quite good in general though and don't mind her voice either... the actual content though is dogsh*te.

Do you mean all radio or just Irish radio or are you being ironic?

Youre right, Id wiped it from my mind but a couple of weeks ago he was droning on about breakfast cereals and how they affect his bowel movements. This drivel is the greatest advert for WiFi internet radios that there is. Seriously these stations must have total contempt for the listeners is these amateurs are the best they can manage. I really love good radio and thats why I feel strongly that the Irish listener is being fed total crap although I dont actually listen to it myself dont you know!

+1 There is nothing else like it on radio. There is the craic, banter, some serious parts but not always. It would make you laugh.

The show wouldn't be too bad if it wasn't for Darcy. He's immature. Should go back to the Den, thats what he did best. At least he was at the same level as his audience there..;)
