Is Glenomena mixed? I'm not liking the thought of six girls in the one apartment!
Are there any other down-sides besides the electricity cards and no oven?

It's mixed, and there are 6 people per apartment. Chances that they put you together with 5 girls are slim, but I know one guy who happened to be in that situation. He moved out to Blackrock eventually, but for other reasons. Personally, I would prefer staying with 5 nice girls rather than 5 hormone-driven, alcohol-craving mad first year guys.At least you can expect some tidiness in a kitchen :)

Segregated accommodation seems a little 1950s.
