Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey guys,

Ok this might sound a little strange but i have memories from years ago when i was a kid of a certain tv show and i can't name it or find it anywhere and anyone i try explain it to hasn't a clue what i'm talking about!!

    Right..

It was a puppet show. But they weren't puppets that were supposed to look funny or anything, they kind of looked like humans. (Not the thunderbird kind of puppets though, more along the lines of the muppets, only more human-like).. Anyway, there was just one setting.. it was just one view of a wall in a kitchen, with a picture frame of the seaside and two red and white striped deck chairs. And two or three of these puppets would come into the shot and chat.. One of the puppets resembled the actor Robert Goulet (when he had the moustache!)..

So then he'd be chatting away to whoever else, say two women puppets.. then the camera would slowly zoom in on the seaside picture frame and it would go to a scene by the seaside with two women puppets on those deck chairs chatting..

I know i sound crazy, but it's doing my head in trying to think of it and i've googled every possibility and nothing!!

Anyway, if anyone has any idea what i'm on about.. please let me know!!

    Thanks guys!

PS: This was not a dream!!

Do you know was it British or Irish TV?

How long is 'years ago'? 60s? 70s? 90s?

Ah the Curse of this famous show strikes again,
it affected so many of us during its brief run and has
    never ever been repeated since

    Rimini Riddle!!!!

-Which did feature Nicola from Fair City so you werent too far out.
    An excellent show

It would've been mid to late 90's!! It definitely wasn't Irish. The guy with the moustache had an American accent.. And I'm thinking so did the women!! It wasn't for kids though I don't think.. I remember being a little freaked out by it!
