Has a forum ever been closed?

    I'm prompted to ask by this. I can't recall it happening though many a forum has been changed/altered in some way - split, spun off etc. Maybe a hosted or private forum has gone west at some point...

    There's nearly eighty closed forums, most of them are hosted, and most of those are gamer clan forums.

    Some were closed, some lived on. We have had General Election forums that got merged back into the main forum, but the US Politics subforum (IIRC) was renamed from a US Election subforum.

    There's loads of hosted forums that are shut. There's still some people with the "community moderator" usertitle and a link to "inactive" forums. That there was an Irish Jedi Council was quite humorous.
