Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi there,

I need to get my 08 Peugeot 207 serviced and it is still under warranty. I am wondering if I get it serviced by my own mechanic and there is something wrong that is still under warranty, would I have to pay for the part to be replaced or would I still be able to get it done by Peugeot?

So long as the garage uses original Pug parts (get receipts to prove this) and carries out all the jobs/inspections that are due as per the service schedule then you should be fine. Get them to stamp and sign the service book and give you a print off. I think I read somewhere that they need to be VAT registered too but they will be more than likely so no worries there

as long as the garage is a recognised garage with qualified people doing the work and they used official peugeot parts which you should keep the receipts for then it will still remain under warranty.

i would send an email with the details to peugeot ireland to confirm before hand too, might help.
