The presentation is amazing it reminds me alot of NFS Pro Street, except the driving is actually good. Didn't like how in the point to point races there's no co-driver telling you the turns, lots of cutting a turn only to have a pile of rocks mess you up.

Really hated the handling of the original, particularly with the wheel. Was really looking forward to it too. Hope it's better this time around.

something not quite right about it from the demo.

I can't place it exactly but grid looked better imo and D2 is using the enhanced engine. I know it's a demo but still.

damage wasnt as good as grid either imo.

prolly just demo things tho.

I do hope in the release that you're not dumped back to the trailer after each race.

it was ok, maybe i just need to play it more.

Took me a go or two to get used to the handling of the car again its been so long since i played a rally game, Its good but very arcadey lots of loud songs and guys shouting at you in a stupid "awesome dude" accent.

If they have a proper WRC event to do it would be worth getting but from the demo i cant see myself getting it on release maybe if it comes down a bit later on in the year.

Is Grid a better rally game i never played it but saw it cheap the other day ? , i miss the old PS1 colin Mcrae where it was the WRC compitition and you had the Subaru with co drivers and 1 left 4 right etc etc great game,

i havent played the demo yet, but I wish they would go back to the old colin mcrae style of games.

Grid is more of a street/track racer, kind of a half way house between the need for speed muck and Forza, very good game imo

I'm not mad on arcade style racers but I did enjoy this demo a lot. As long as i can turn off the horrible sound of hilbillys shouting at me while I'm trying to race I'll probably get it sooner or later.

Not one Irish store we could find (in the south east anyways) had received ANY XB360 stock of Dirt 2. All had the PS3 version but none got the 360 version. Here's hoping it'll ship to everyone in the morning !
