Looking for an unusual restaurant

Weird thread title i know.

Basically what im looking for is something akin to the Mongolian BBQ in Temple bar. The problem with going there is: the Missus is fairly picky with food and not a veg eater at all so she wouldnt enjoy it.

However what im after is something along the lines of it in terms of something different from the norm.

Been to the Port house and Bar Pinxto before a good few times so something different again.

Can anyone help me?

Go to one of the Korean BBQ restaurants - my favourite is Bonga on Capel Street. You order whatever meat you want and then cook it on a grill thats sunken into the middle of your table. Order Kimchi and whatever other side dishes and a few bottles of Korean soju (like korean vodka) shots that you have with it. Portions are generous and not that expensive.

Lebanese food is pretty fantastic too - You've got two on Parliment St (I think) and another place off of College Green/Dame St. All names escape me at the moment

Believe me i try. She never even ate steak until she met me. Which i consider a sin in itself. Anyway thanks for the suggestions so far. Must take a look at their menu's

some different would be teppanyaki
there is one in swords that I thought was very decent. It's based in Swords Manor.

This place is on baggot street (but since I've not been there i cannot recommend it)
