Maddens Court off Thomas Street

Can anyone tell me if Maddens Court off Thomas Street still exists and where exactly it is. My great grandparents were listed as living there in the 1911 census. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Judging by old street directories, it would have been in the block between where Francis Street and Vicar Street are on Thomas Street.

The old streets went:
Vicar Street
Between 65 and 66 Thomas Street was Talbot's Inn Yard
So roughly across the road from John's lane Church.
Between 69 and 70 Thomas Street was Madden's Court.

I'm not sure if it is still there.
I'll try and find a recent or old pic.

Thanks guys. I had checked on google maps but it kept giving me a location off Davitt Road!! I'm trying to do a family tree and want to take photos of all the old places my family used to live in and thats why I was anxious to find out where Maddens Court was. Do any of you have any idea how good or how bad Maddens Court was in terms of the rest of the residences around there around 1911. Thanks again, I'll be heading over there on Monday with camera in hand to take any sort of photo I can, but Spurious if you can locate any new or old ones that would be great.

If you're in Dublin, you might email the Dublin Archives later today and see what they have.

They are upstairs in Pearse Street library and if you give them a time you expect to arrive (and they're not mad busy), they'll have stuff waiting for you.
