UPC expanding?

    I would like to go with cable broadband since I can only get 3mb max with adsl in my area, I rang up UPC to find out if it would be available in my area (north county dublin skerries area).

    They said their currently expanding and should reach my area by the end of 2009. Does this hold any weight, can I expect to see waves of advertisement for UPC in the coming months?
