Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

HI Folks,

Yesterday I drove from a filling station in Claremorris to a car park in Ballina. The odometer told me that the total distance travelled was 37.4 miles. I drove home exactly the same route and so I figured that I should have got a round trip total of 74.8 miles (give or take a small amount).

The odometer however, read 67.5 miles - this seems way out. The car has the original manufacturers wheels. I was hoping to have a little experiment and was wondering if some of you would volunteer.

Could you let me know whether you will set your odometers to 0 and travel a fixed route, noting the reading at destination and again when you return home.

You can post the results as you get them - also please state whether you have changed wheels or not. You might just post here to say if you will do it.
