Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

As a secondary school teacher i am wondering do you have to be on a contract to move up an increment?

Also if i get a contract in September do i get backpay for June July and August. I know as i was subbing for 20 hours a week all year last year it included holiday but does that include all holidays including June, July and August?

i thought that none of us were going up increments this year?
Don't know about about part-time contracts. You could try calling the union, although they are fairly usesless.

increments were not stopped AFAIK. Your contract starts in Sept and holidays are at end of the school year i.e. your contract may go til either next June or end of next Aug.
