hi all , need some help , need an engine for a direct injection 1.8 mondeo ghia with coil pack 2004 reg , anyone know of a source??? ( reasonable would be good :) ) Thanks!

That engine is pretty rare on these shores. As already mentioned your best bet is Traynor's up North or try the UK where this model would have been more popular.
