At least fletcher is starting but i would have been inclined to have Owen instead of Berba. Would be good for either of them to open their account for the season though!

Well considering Fergie claims he is still our first choice peno taker after the Burnley game it would have to be a recent falling out.

It's a puzzler. If he's left him out voluntarily, it can only be for a reason like rotation, he did the full 90 against Burnley. And like you said, if there was a falling out, he'd hardly be our first-choice penalty taker, would he?

Very strange not to see Carrick or Anderson on the bench. If one of them was there i wouldnt read anything into it, but why are they both absent and Gibson on the bench? That makes no sence.

Is this perhaps Fergie "trusting the squad" again? He believes that the team that he puts out can win, gives Carrick and Anderson who may be in the middle against Arsenal a rest. It could bite us again here if that's the case.

It's early in the season, he'll ease everyone into it. Delighted to see vidic back. Pretty attacking line up, I hope it performs better than the mid week one.
