Watched Dallas Buyers Club last night. Slight delay in audio sync with pic. About half a second only, but enough to slightly bug the shït out of me.

I had the same issue with the copy I was watching but wasn't watching on Showbox. Might just be an issue with the rip.

Same here with the copy I watched.

If you watch on VLC player you can use the "J" & "K" keys to re-sync the audio.

I never knew that. I'll remember that for the future.

Do people really not like Hangouts? I find it great personally. Use it for SMS and IM/video now. I particularly like the SMS integration. I accept though that it can be confusing for less tech-minded (my father for instance can't handle it).
Only criticism I have is the lack of proper standaolne desktop app, though the chrome extension does a decent job at masquerading as one.

No interest in Google plus I admit, but thats because of a general lack of interest in social networks - from what I've seen I like.

I like hangouts too. It seems to require less bandwidth than Skype, so connections are better when video calling people with slower Internet.

I tried it out for sms, but I stopped after a couple of days. What put me off was that the texts didn't integrate properly with webchats. For example, if I'm chatting with my wife through hangouts to her Gmail address, and then later on through sms, they come up as two different streams. If Google integrate that, like Apple have done with imessage, then I'd definitely rethink using it as my sole message app.

Great game. A bit short, but very enjoyable. The sequel is out now too, might grab that if it goes half price.

Picked up the room. I was always meant to be never got around to it. Since it is half price hard to say no.
If I like it I may pick up the room 2 or what ever they called it.

This completely. I've no idea why they haven't done this.

Anyone else notice that if you download a movie to the phone, you're unable to stream.

What's up with that of

    Edit.

Move the file using file manager to gallery /movie sorted out for me.

They're an advertising company, not telecoms.

    And...?

Whatapp currently don't have advertising on the app.

Telegram looks like a good alternative to Whatsapp and stores your conversations in the cloud, not on the device which means offline will work better on mobile

This is a fairly essential set up for anyone who likes to stream football on their Android device, particularly on android sticks connected to tv. Obviously you'll have to source the streams yourself as posting them here is against the charter. Needless to say, if you usually stream sports you'll know how fantastic this is.

Can someone PM me some decent sports streams to watch sport on please(so I can use the above) Or is that against boards charter? . Thanks

Might not be exactly what you are looking for, but have a look at Contacts+ app. It can link your contacts social media feeds to your contacts app so you can see what they're posting and you can message them from various different sources within the app too.

Is there an app for that ? Or do you just watch in the browser ?

Yeh, have it set up, it's great. Is acestream the best to use? Can't use flash on my Android stick but see there's also streams on sopcast (whatever that is). It's just that some of the streams on acestream are a bit jittery. Though that could be cos of my broadband.

There is an Acestream App. When you download it, you also need to download another app called MX Player. This is the app you use to play the streams. Then you go onto wiziwig, look at the streams and select an "Acestream" stream This is will open your Acestream app and start to buffer, after a few seconds/minutes(depending on your d/l speed) it'll ask where you want to watch it. Then select MX player and you have a HD stream on your phone that is good enough to be transferred to a TV if you like.
Hopefully this isn't against the rules.

Some can be. I tend to just go for a lower kb/s stream until I get one that doesn't. There is a guy, nozebleed which I'm told is good, but I've always found his streams jumpy so I've just used others.
