Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cheers, I just installed there. Flicking through the apps now, any recommendations?

Thanks, installed it too :-) Am a big Game Of Thrones found so was well happy to find an app in there explaining all the family connections! Also installed Root Explorer which is very handy!

    Thanks,

Looking forward to exploring this more over the next few days! Is it the equivalent of Cydia on Android?

    Thanks,

Just playing with the S Voice app from the GS3.
Works surprisingly well even with my bogger accent. Powered by Vlingo.
Behaves identically to Siri...well without being a cheeky bitch at times

BeoirFinder: A great app to find your nearest pub, off-licence or restaurant selling Irish craft beer. Have been running the IOS version for a while. Glad that it's finally available for Android platforms.

QuickySMS for free texting. As is usual for these apps, there are adverts in it. Also the receiver does not get your number. Instead you get "free sms@quickySMS" at the end of a text. You can use it for domestic or international texting.

I tested it here & for a UK mobile. Both worked without reducing my text total. Australia & N.Z. are listed in the drop-down list of countries you can text, so i suspect it works.

Even if you got the app to install the app itself seems to use the geo location to start. so unless you can use a mock location somehow dunno how it would work.

Just ask on XDA, somebody will be able to install it and then export it with titanium.

I'm looking for an FM radio app which doesn't use data, instead uses headphones/earphones as an antenna.
I flashed my Galaxy S to Slimrom 3.6 from stock a few weeks ago so the built-in FM Radio app got wiped. I can't seem to find any radio apps on the Play Store that don't require data/wi-fi to work.

The drivers are probably specific to the GS. Best bet is to get somebody on stock to use titanium to make a backup and send it to you.

FM TwoO was built as a replacement for the Galaxy S FM radio app. I tried it on an S2 before with no success, but seing as it was built for the original S, you might have more luck!!

Thought it'd be worth a try anyway! :)

There was another one called Spirit Fm, but the dev took away the free version and replaced it with a light version for about 2 quid. There's no way to test it from the play store.

The dev does offer a free version on xda though, so might be worth looking into it more!

Cheers thanks, I'll give that thread a read. Probably not all 354 pages of it though!! :)

Ah no, posts 1 to 3 are probably the most relevant!! :pac:

If that doesn't work though, you'll have to get hold of the stock radio apk somehow. You could flash back to stock yourself to get it, or maybe ask nicely at xda and someone might already have it lying around! :)

Anyone know of a good secure app to store things like passwords. I have over 30 passwords for work & personal reasons and a lot have to be changed to something new every month so it really is becoming a pain remembering them all. Would be great if you could access the app account from a regular PC also.

KeePass - Works with browsers as well. I use it on Forefox.

It has a desktop version as well. For me browser add on and android app is enough.
