I use Go Launcher Ex, have messed around with Apex and Trebuchet a bit but I just prefer the look/feel of Go Launcher - though I do hate that they tack on Go Themes and Go Store with it.

I have SkyGo working sweet as a nut on my phone.
but i needed to add Voodoo OTA root keeper and temp unroot the phone then run Sky Go.

pM me your email address and i will email the apk's over to you (not taking an flak for things that might or might not happen to your phone adding these apks, nothing should happen but thought i would add that bit...lol)

I played it on the DS when it was remade and paid full whack €30 for it so it's probably worth it but 13 quid is a stretch!!!

i was reading that the latest version of the sky go app has blocked the OTA root keeper work around.

Normally, games have an initial APK download of a few MBs. Once you boot it up, it then asks you to download extra files. Normally, these downloads can be staggered, saving the progress.

This game wants to download all 540MB for the initial install. Just seems odd, especially as downloads from the store can only be cancelled, not paused.

That was because under the old rules apks could only be 50MB max.
That has been upped now to 2gb max. so you'll see less of a small apk and big data download.
Sonic Cd has changed how it installs now. it's just a large apk now. More games I'd imagine will change to this way too.

Youll be seeing that more often. They used to only be allowed a specific size apks then download after. Now they can bundle the files with the market download

Thats a bit backward isn't it. The biggest App I've ever downloaded was 1.8gb, but even that changed to a format where it downloaded a smaller file then added as required.

Kinda. Used to be handy to just download the apk then get the extra files as needed but those files had to be gotten from the devs server. At least now they can store them on the market freeing up their servers from taking a hit (like Sonic CD when it was 1st released)

There are changes to how downloads will be dealth with announced at I/O it will only download the needed updated files rather than the whole load again.

Has anyone updated to the new YouTube app on play. It certainly looks more polished than the existing version.

Don't know if its been mentioned before but AirDroid is amazing. Lets you access your files, texts, calls, music and more from any web browser (on the same wifi of course). Invaluable to send a file quickly to your phone (even if you don't have the cable), plus it speed installs .apks you may have on your computer too.

Nike+ is pretty good, lets you record cardio if thats what you're doing.

I don't get FCs, but I did have a weird glitch where the keyboard would disappear but still be there, random things like that. I switched to CM9 and that seems to have resolved the issues. I think.
