Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yep, it comes pre-installed on windows so people just use it. I still struggle to get people to change to Firefox or Chrome.

i installed Chrome for my uncles laptop and when he went to college the IT told him to get rid of it before he was allowed to connect to network as it was very unsafe and full of viruses

    yes those were her words.

Anyone using swiftkey on stock browser on a GS2? Is there any way to get the predictions to work? Poxy predictions never work if I'm on a site like boards.

I'll give anything new a go, but if it's no better, or worse, I don't see the point. Better to keep the same email address if you can.

Easyfocus is a handy app for changing the focus points on your images. You can make a portrait shot look good by blurring the background.

I wouldn't use an app from some random developer for internet banking. They could be capturing any information. Just create a bookmark to the mobile site on your homescreen

Boardsie Enhancement Suite - a browser extension to make using Boards on desktop a better experience (includes full-width display, keyboard shortcuts, dark mode, and more). Now available through your browser's extension store.

    Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/boardsie-enhancement-suite/

    Chrome/Edge/Opera: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/boardsie-enhancement-suit/bbgnmnfagihoohjkofdnofcfmkpdmmce

I wrote it and source code is available on github for anyone to view.

I don't really care if anybody uses it. I made it for myself as one of their customers annoyed at them not doing the work to do it themselves.

It is just a webview of the site with a launcher.

I know lots of people will think same as you about a bank app. I wrote it instead of using something like appgeyser because I wasn't going to trust the info their ads might collect so don't mind people having that opinion.

I'd be wary of using that app. I get 3 or 4 emails in my junk folder every day purporting to be from Per.TSB or Open 24:(

I wasn't even going to upload it TBH, made it for myself. Showed it to a few other people who asked me to upload it.

That is why I posted the source with it.

ZeptoLab have the 'HD' versions of their games on a promotional at the moment, until the end of December, as far as I can tell.

    Everything under 80 cent.

A heads up that the lovely (..and addictive) Pudding Monsters is out for Android.

The HD games now work with the Nexus 7, after a recent update.

Well I can't say it's a must have but has anyone tried this new keyboard?

    Edit.
Tried it out a bit today. Love it.

I've been playing New Star Soccer on my kindle. It's €2.49 on google play but well worth it I think.

It's the same idea as Jumpers for Goalposts but the match play is different. I don't think the match play is half as hard as JFG but I find it's tougher to get money.

    Very addictive!

AppSales gives a list of all apps that are on sale at anytime, you can add apps from the play store to a watchlist as well & get notified about it

Seen it mentioned in this thread which has a list of apps on sale now

Hill Climb racing is savage! Similar in gameplay to that old "Bike" game. Pretty addictive.

Also, music sounds like porn music.

    Found 2 brillant apps recently
Ultimate rugby - shows you all matches on for whichever team you choose all leagues, shows timeline for past matches, teams you can get bios on the players, newspaper articles etc. Even for future games you can book flights and hotels.

TV Portal- for €1 you can watch nearly any TV series online it is really up to date with all the series. For example had the final episodes of Homeland, boardwalk empire which only finished in the last couple of weeks. Also has thousands of films not quite as up to date but still decent.

Is it not sure- the shows would have already have been shown on TV and I am guessing are on their Channels I Players. The film part doesn't seem to have films that have not been out a while.

    Anyway I find it great

One thing about HCR is it constantly runs in the background even after you force close it. Seems unnecessary

It's a great game. I need more levels though. Or more vehicles.

What are the must have driving apps?
Been using a few over the years but haven't found one I'm happy with.
Looking for apps that can compose texts and send them, read out texts, compose emails and send. Caller id. Open apps all through voice activation!

Ah Google now. It does some stuff badly like ringing people. Don't find it too accurate and AFAIK I cannot compose texts, emails or even have these read out.

Downloaded the driving mode widget, will see how that goes.

Shush is a simple little app, if you set your phone to silent it pops up with a timer to turn the ringer back on again, handy if you're just turning it off for the cinema:

    Guys,

I'm looking for an app where you can take a face photo of some people and the app superimposes them onto dancing/singing characters. A friend did this on his iPhone app and my kids would love it.

    Any ideas?

    Ben
