Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can someone tell me at what milage should the fan belt be changed on a 06 Ford Focus, Diesel, 1.6 TDCi, 110 BHP ?

As far as I know it's the first day belt, 56500 miles on clock.

I'm almost certain the 1.6 litre TDCi doesn't need replacing until 100k miles. Ring a Ford garage to be sure though.

Do You mean timing belt, the fan belt is on the exterior of the engine and can be inspected easily and should be changed when it looks like it should be changed.

    Thanks Guys.

I meant Fan belt alright. The space is fairly tight and not that easy to inspect. Just wondering if there is a change due by a certain milage even if it looks ok ?
